We would like to thank Ms. Ann Hepenstal, an emergency preparedness coordinator of Los Altos. She has helped us a lot through our Silver Award by helping us confirm that the information and research we gathered was correct and relevant. We would also like to thank our advisers for our Silver Award project, Sue Jones and Jeanne Schmitt. Also a big thank you to our parents who took us where we needed to go to complete the Silver Award and working around their busy schedules. The police department and fire department's presentations and events were also a great help. We gained much of our sources there and made more contacts.
